We are looking for energetic and passionate Infant and Toddler Certified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at our Kinder Kampus Eagle Mountain Infant and Toddler Program for December 2022!
- Infant and Toddler Early Childhood Educator (1 Full time)
The candidate must be reliable, creative, innovative, and eager to take initiative with programming for infants and toddlers both indoors and outdoors. We are seeking a qualified ECE IT Educator who is passionate and excited about the field of Early Childhood Education and working with young children and building positive relationships with each child and their families. The ideal candidate must be thoughtful and caring and able to provide engaging activities and learning experiences for children ages 1 through 3. We are looking for someone with clear communication skills and a strong work ethic both independently and in a team setting. You must hold a full and valid ECE ITE license with previous experience working in an Infant and Toddler Daycare setting being a asset and come with three references that can attest to your suitability to work with young children.
The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a very experienced teaching team in a natural and cozy classroom located in the wonderful, forested Heritage Woods neighborhood of Heritage Mountain, Port Moody. We are easily accessible by transit and have free parking if you have your own personal transportation.
The position is from Monday – Friday with shifts alternating between 7:30-3:30 (No break, unless wanted) and 8:30-5:30 (one hour break). This position is full time with an employer paid comprehensive package for Medical and Dental benefits offered after 3 months, ECE workshops, ongoing education incentives, free parking, paid prep time as well as opportunities for wage increases and promotions. The starting wage ranges between $20.00 – $21.00 an hour plus the $4.00 an hour ECE Wage Enhancement which is paid out once monthly.

Qualifications:
An asset to have experience in a Group Child Care Setting working with Infants and Toddlers
Must have 3 professional/personal character references
Must have a clear Criminal Record Check
Must have a valid ECE ITE certificate to practice in British Columbia
Salary: Starting at $54,000.00 per year (including ECE Wage Enhancement)
