Position Type: Full-Time Teaching Positions
Start Date: March 2, 2026 (with the possibility of starting mid-February 2026)
Schedule: Rotating Shifts between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (includes 1-hour break)
Compensation: $25–$27/hour, based on experience and education (inclusive of wage enhancement)
About Language Arts Early Learning (LAEL)
Founded in 2015 by two Early Childhood Education experts, Language Arts Early Learning is grounded in a deep belief in children’s rights to high-quality early learning education and environments.
Our child-centered teaching methodology uses intentional invitations and thoughtful provocations to:
•Engage children in deeper thinking
•Encourage inquiry-based learning
•Strengthen neural connections during early brain development
We emphasize multimodal, academic play-based learning across both core and complementary curriculum areas. LAEL Curriculum Training is provided to support educators in our unique and intentional approach.
Position Overview
As part of our centre expansion, we are seeking dedicated and passionate full-time Early Childhood Educators and Infant & Toddler Educators to join our team. Educators will play a key role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities
•Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences in alignment with the LAEL Curriculum
•Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development across all age groups
Infant & Toddler–Specific Responsibilities:
•Provide responsive, nurturing, and individualized care that supports secure attachment and emotional well-being
•Support infants’ and toddlers’ routines, including feeding, diapering, toileting, rest, and transitions with care and respect
•Observe and respond to children’s cues, interests, and developmental needs in real time
•Create calm, sensory-rich, and developmentally appropriate environments that promote early exploration and motor development
•Support early language development through intentional interactions, songs, books, and meaningful communication
•Maintain detailed daily communication with families regarding routines, development, and milestones
General Responsibilities:
•Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and developmental progress
•Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
•Build respectful, professional, and collaborative relationships with families and colleagues
•Follow all childcare licensing requirements, health guidelines, and safety regulations
•Collaborate with the team to foster healthy, positive, and supportive work environments
•Participate in monthly professional development days
•Demonstrate flexibility, openness, and a willingness to learn and grow with the school
•Commit to a minimum one-year teaching contract to support consistency and healthy attachment for children
Qualifications
•Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body
•Infant and Toddler Educator certification required for ITE positions
•Valid First Aid & CPR (Level C) certification
•Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
•Strong communication and teamwork skills
•A genuine passion for early childhood education and intentional pedagogy
Compensation & Benefits
