We are a local family seeking a responsible, playful and flexible support worker. We have three children, ages 9, 7 and 16 months. We homeschool following an unschooling/self-directed learning approach. Our entire family is neurodivergent with our two oldest children being autistic. We use a responsive and respectful parenting and educational approach founded on attachment and relational safety. We do not practice behaviourism or use any ABA strategies. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable about neurodiversity and affirming in their approach.
We offer great pay and flexible hours for the right candidate. We will be paying through Autism Funding and Self-Design. We are seeking someone looking to build a long-term relationship and position with our family.
