All RMC certificate and diploma program students are required to submit proof of the English Language Requirement.
Proof of English consists of one of the following:
- Successful completion of English 12 or equivalent as shown on a Canadian or American High School Transcript.
- Successful completion of a Canadian, American, British, Irish or Australian post-secondary for-credit class (from a public institution) if the language of instruction is English.
- Accepted score on a recognized third-party English test including IELTS, TOEFL, Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) / Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) also known as LINC, or Duolingo.
If prospective students do not have one of the above noted documents, then they may complete RMC’s English Evaluation. In-house English assessments are completed on campus in Maple Ridge. There is no fee. English assessments are scheduled after all your application requirements are completed in the system.
Please note that original copies of your document(s) may be required to be presented to the admissions office prior to final admittance at Ridge Meadows College.
